We arrived at the Tea on the Green at around 11:30, there were already full of people enjoying the nice weather sitting outside. The first floor has too many people and we had to sit upstairs which was nice with the view. On the upper floor, they said it is the best area to view the Cathedral at night and you can book a banquet there for maximum 34 people.
View from the First Floor
We have ordered these for our 1st round:
- Tea on the Green English Full Breakfast- £7.95
- Scramble Eggs with Smoked Salmon on Toast- £6.95
- Baileys Irish Cream Latte- £4.25 (Regular)
- The Latte was quite strong to me but it was really tasty
Sunday Roast (2nd Round)
The Sunday Roast serves from 12:30PM-5PM. It was really worth waiting for! Especially the Pork with apple puree- it was very tender in the inside and crunchy on the outside (more like a chinese roast pork but in a moist version). The veggies side was awesome too, it was not tasteless as it has herbs with it. The room started to get cozy when they start to serve the Sunday Roast as everyone are here for it!
Our Experience: We have spent a good 3 hours chilling in the restaurant with the breeze coming from the window. The view was very nice and totally recommended the Sunday Roast!
